Eight Minutes Idle is a delicious mix of dark comedy and twisted love story. Adapted from an award-winning novel by Bristol author Matt Thorne, this is the story of Dan, early 20s, who gets kicked out of his home by his mother and not knowing who to turn to ends up packing up his most prized possessions - a spider man pillow, his favourite music and his cat John - and moving into his office, a call centre.
